Calling all guests to the family-friendly Lakehouse just 45 minutes from St. John's & only 5 minutes to the Wilds Golf Course/Convention Centre! This waterfront cottage sleeps 14 guests in comfort having 4 spacious bedrooms with a total of 3 queen beds, 2 double beds, a kids' bunk room sleeping 6, and 3 & 1/2 bathrooms. With floor to ceiling windows this cottage offers panoramic views of Bethune Pond from every room and makes the perfect getaway for large groups or families travelling together.
The space
Located on the hidden gem that is Goose Pond Country Properties, The Lakehouse on Sunset offers a spacious chalet for you to spread out and relax on your own private pond frontage.
You will find your home away from home in the town of Whitbourne, where you can find hiking trails, fishing, golfing, groceries, a hospital, gas, drinks, and some fine dining to name a few.
Outdoors is our favourite place to be. Hang out or dine on the wrap around deck that overlooks the pond, or jump in the pond for a swim! Adventure around the surrounding connection of ponds. Explore the nearby town of dildo and dildo brewery, which makes a perfect day trip being only 20 minutes away. Lastly, relax and unwind around a pond side fire pit to top it all off!
Enjoy tons of indoor space in the open-concept chef's kitchen for preparing meals and dining with your friends and family. Kids will love to slumber in the bunk room or play games in the basement while having incredible views of the lake through the vast wall of windows. A variety of board games are available for those rainy days or hunker down in front of one of the two TV's that are available for you to stream from your favourite subscriptions. A family flex area and dedicated work space are also available on the top floor with wifi for those work-from-homers.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire space of the house as well as the yard and private pond frontage. Guests can come and go through our code lock and the access code will be provided the day before the check-in.
